JT Thor, a five-star forward prospect formerly out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, is visiting with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. For those unaware, the young man recently reclassified to join the 2020 recruitment cycle.
This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who previously mentioned the youngster is transferring to Norcross HS (GA) to finish off his pre-collegiate career.
While some of this has changed now that he’s out of the 2021 recruiting class, a few reputable recruiting services had tracked him relative to the 2021 class. According to those nifty websites, not only is JT Thor a five-star caliber player, but one of the 10 (or so) best players in the entire class.
Now that he’s in the 2020 class, he’s a higher ranked four-star, at least according to most outlets, slotting in as one of the 45 (or so) best prospects in his new grouping.
Mostly blue-blood programs have been active in recruiting the now 2020 JT Thor. The Oklahoma State Cowboys are obviously hoping they can do enough to land him.
