Oregon Ducks coach Dana Altman is going to go to work on the recruiting trail on Thursday. The head coach is going to check in on two different top 30 players in the 2020 class. This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Kyree Walker, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, is one of the targets. Dalen Terry, a four-star forward prospect out of the same class, is the other.
For what it’s worth, Walker is the higher rated prospect, but not by much.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service websites have Kyree Walker pegged as a five-star caliber player, but most agree he’s one of the 13 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
As for Dalen Terry, he’s pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, and most tend to agree he’s one of the 35 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 grouping.
Time will tell if Dana Altman can convince either or both to become members of the Oregon Ducks, but it’s obviously worth a shot.
