Jayden Stone, a four-star guard prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Oregon Ducks. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned the offer came after a meeting on Monday evening.
With the 2018-19 college basketball season over, but with the 2019-20 campaign coming at us faster than we realize, many programs have already begun to turn their attentions to the 2020 class. Obviously, Oregon is no different in that regard.
As for Jayden Stone, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have him pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 40 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
As it always does, time will tell if the offer by the Oregon Ducks works out or not. There are several other quality schools that also want Stone as a member of their men’s basketball programs.
