Kyree Walker, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Oregon Ducks. This news comes via Twitter from Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Dana Altman recently checked in on the youngster. Since this visit happened only a couple of days ago, it’s pretty safe to assume the offer was a reaction to seeing the kid. For what it’s worth, the Oregon coach also checked out fellow 2020 five-star Dalen Terry that same day.
If Walker’s name sounds familiar, he was once an Arizona State Sun Devils commitment.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service websites have Kyree Walker pegged as a five-star caliber player, but most agree he’s one of the 13 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Other schools to keep an eye on, as all were originally in the mix for his services prior to the original ASU commitment, are Kentucky, Cal, Nevada, Texas and a entire host of other quality programs. Basically, if a school as open scholarships for the 2020 recruiting cycle, which nearly all do, expect them to make a run at the 6-foot-5 talent.
Time will tell if the Oregon Ducks actually land the talented young man.
