Hunter Dickinson, a five-star big man prospect out of the 2020 class, will take an official visit with the Providence Friars. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who mentioned the visit is scheduled for this weekend.
The Oregon Ducks and Boston College Eagles have both already offered him a scholarship. After that, the Alabama Crimson Tide, Maryland Terrapins, Florida State Seminoles, and many others have them on their radars and/or are offering him scholarships.
Not only do most reputable recruiting service websites list Hunter Dickinson as a five-star caliber player, but most have him hovering around being one of the 20 best in the entire 2020 class. Considering he still has some time, don’t expect a commitment anytime too soon from the youngster.
As for the Providence Friars, they remain forever in the big for good talent on the recruiting trail. In turn, it’s never a bad idea to believe Ed Cooley is on the verge of taking this program on a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
