Niels Lane, a four-star guard prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, is going to visit the Seton Hall Pirates.
This news was relayed to the masses by grassroots guru and 247Sports reporter Evan Daniels, who also mentioned the visit would be unofficial in capacity.
The young man is also scheduled for an unofficial visit with the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday.
Lane’s recruitment process has been getting more attention as of late. It’s worth noting that, as the New Jersey product has only recently picked up major steam. Prior to the last few months, most outlets projected him as a middling three-star talent.
However, as he’s gotten more play in front of more eyes, Niels Lane has become a four-star in some reputable recruiting service outlets, including 247Sports, who gave him four stars in their composite rankings. Still, it’s worth noting he’s mostly pegged way outside of top-100 boards.
Obviously, the Seton Hall Pirates are hoping to land the young man.
