Moses Moody, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Seton Hall Pirates. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
With Kevin Willard deciding to stay put with the program, it’s not a shock that he’s swinging for the fences on the recruiting trail. He was reportedly promised an increased focus on upgrading the program’s facilities and general attention to everything Seton Hall related.
As for Moses Moody, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a five-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 25 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Obviously, other programs are also interesting in landing his services. The Auburn Tigers, Baylor Bears and Florida State Seminoles, just to name a few, are going after his skills.
With the 2018-19 college basketball season now over, it will be interesting to see how the Seton Hall Pirates do on the recruiting trail. There’s some turnover happening in the Big East, and the league is ripe for picking.
