AJ Hoggard, a four-star points guard prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the St. John’s Red Storm. This news was relayed on Twitter by Rivals reporter Corey Evans.
Hoggard has gathered a lot of interest as late, receiving offers from both the Michigan State Spartans and Ole Miss Rebels.
New St. John’s Red Storm coach Mike Anderson is only a few hours removed from receiving his first ever commitment with the New York based program. Johnathan McGriff, a higher level three-star player known for his insane handle, committed on Thursday.
As for AJ Hoggard, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 100 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Only time will tell if the St. John’s Red Storm are able to land him.
