Trey Patterson, a five-star prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, is taking an unofficial visit with the Stanford Cardinal.
This information was directed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers and Rivals reporter Jake Weingarten.
It’s certainly worth mentioning that the UCLA Bruins have already tossed the young man a scholarship offer. He was actually the first recruit Cronin offered since landing the job.
As for Trey Patterson, not only do most reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a five-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 18 (or so) best players in the entire 2021 recruiting class.
Obviously, it’s still early, so only time will tell what program inevitably lands the highly thought of prospect.
That being said, the Stanford Cardinal appear to be in the mix, at least to some degree, which is good news for the program.
