Andre Jackson, a five-star shooting prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, will have an in-home visit with the Syracuse Orange on Tuesday. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned it will be head coach Jim Boeheim being the person doing the visiting.
The Alabama Crimson Tide recently offered the young man a scholarship. It’s also worth noting that several other programs are after his services.
As for Andre Jackson, not only do most reputable recruiting service outlets have him pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most agree he’s one of the 40 (or so) best talents in the entire class. It is worth noting, though, a few prominent outlets do have him slotted as a five-star.
The Syracuse Orange will obviously play a factor in the recruit’s decision making progress. While the competition to land him should be fierce, the young man is from New York, which can help Boeheim.
