Donovan Johnson, a four-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the TCU Horned Frogs. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Having drawn interest from plenty of schools, the Xavier Musketeers have already offered the young man a ride as well.
A 6-foot-7 wing from Pennsylvania, this is one of the bigger schools to have targeted the young man. Other programs interested in his services are Akron, Davidson, George Washington and a bunch of other quality schools. Xavier and TCU, however, do seem to be the largest who have gone this active in trying to hand him.
Most reputable recruiting service outlets do have Donovan Johnson pegged as a four-star caliber player. That being said, some do have him sitting right outside their top-100 boards.
With Jamie Dixon sticking with the TCU Horned Frogs this offseason, fully expect more program growth.
