Khristian Lander, a five-star prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Tennessee Volunteers.
This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Other prominent programs have also offered the young man a scholarship already, including the Iowa Hawkeyes.
From Indiana, the 5-foot-11 guard is drawing interest from plenty of blue-blood programs and others nearby. The Indiana Hoosiers, Butler Bulldogs, Purdue Boilermakers and a host of other schools have already shown interest in the youngster.
While 2021 is a bit down the road, those who follow grassroots basketball closely will tell you that he’s not only considered a five-star caliber player, but Khristian Lander is one of the 15 (or so) best prospects in the entire 2021 recruiting class.
Only time will tell if the Tennessee Volunteers can convince the talented youngster to join their program.
