Harrison Ingram, a five-star wing prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Texas A&M Aggies. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
This comes only a few days after Buzz Williams offered a scholarship to 2020 four-star prospect Jalen Cone. Williams, who only took over the job a few weeks ago, is clearly already going to work.
Nearly all reputable recruiting service outlets do consider Harrison Ingram a five-star prospect. Not only that, though, as most tend to agree he’s one of the 25 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
To compare that to Cone a bit, who is being asked to reclassify to the 2019 by some programs, Jalen is one of the 65 or so best players in his class.
Basically, Buzz Williams is trying to make sure his 2020 class is a good one. Considering he has his work cut out for him, and with the 2019 class essentially already in the books, it is important he does relatively well on the recruiting trail.
Nevertheless, Texas A&M Aggies fans have to be excited to see their new head coach putting in work.
