Cole Anthony, the top point guard prospect in the 2019 recruiting class, is scheduled to visit the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this week. This news was first brought to the college basketball community’s attention by way of the New York Post’s Zach Braziller.

This isn’t exactly shocking given who has been named in his final 12.

It was only a few weeks back that, on Twitter, the hyped guard said he’s down to the Kentucky Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils, Georgetown Hoyas, Kansas Jayhawks, Louisville Cardinals, Miami Hurricanes, North Carolina Tar Heels, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oregon Ducks, Pittsburgh Panthers, Villanova Wildcats and Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Not only is Anthony considered a five-star prospect, but most reputable recruiting service outlets believe him to be one of the three or four best players in the entire 2019 class.

The 6-foot-3 point guard has drawn a lot of attention from the media over the summer. Major outlets have run multiple features on him, with many claiming him to be the new big point guard deal out of New York City. Oddly enough, you can obviously tell just how many New York City based programs made the cut.

Cole Anthony is the son of former UNLV and NBA talent Greg Anthony.
