New Vanderbilt Commodores head coach Jerry Stackhouse is going to waste no time on the recruiting trail. The former NBA All-Star is scheduled to meet with, and watch, a pair of 2020 five-star talents on Wednesday.
According to Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, Stackhouse will check in on Kyree Walker and Dalen Terry.
This is significant given both prospects are projected as elite level recruits.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service websites have Kyree Walker pegged as a five-star caliber player, but most agree he’s one of the 13 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
As for Dalen Terry, he’s pegged as a four-to-five-star caliber prospect and most tend to agree he’s one of the 35 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Only time will tell what level of players Jerry Stackhouse regularly brings to the Vanderbilt Commodores, but for fans, it has to be good to know that he’s shooting for the best prospects out of the gate.
