Kennedy Chandler, a four-star prospect out of the 2021 recruiting class, will be checked in on by Vanderbilt Commodores coach Jerry Stackhouse. This information was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
It’s certainly worth mentioning that new St. John’s Red Storm coach Mike Anderson recently offered the youngster a scholarship.
The Alabama Crimson Tide, Iowa State Cyclones, Virginia Tech Hokies and Arkansas Razorbacks, have all also offered him a deal over the last few weeks.
Not all recruiting service outlets have begun to rank 2021 prospects in earnest. That being said, those who have, either peg Kennedy Chandler as a four or five-star recruit. Furthermore, those outlets tend to agree he’s one of the 30 (or so) best players in the entire 2021 recruiting class.
As for Jerry Stackhouse, since being named the head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores, he’s mostly gone after high level recruits in different recruiting classes. It’s easy to get excited about the idea of what he’s trying to get going.
