Mwani Wilkinson, a rising 6-foot-6 prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Vanderbilt Commodores.
This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who mentioned the young man’s recent rise up recruiting boards.
Even with his tremendous play this spring with Vegas Elite, most reputable recruiting service outlets do still have the young man pegged as a three-star caliber player. Furthermore, Mwani Wilkinson is outside most top 200 boards.
Nevertheless, new Vanderbilt Commodores head coach Jerry Stackhouse is looking at a variety of ways to build the program back up. He’s offered plenty of top-tier talent since taking over the job, as well as looking for a few diamonds in the rough.
