Villanova Wildcats freshman Jahvon Quinerly has released a statement on Twitter following a previous cryptic message was sent from him on social media.
For context, following a loss to the Penn Quakers, the freshman put out a message, inferring the Wildcats may have been his second choice as a collegiate destination. On Thursday, however, he apologized for that message with a new one via the mean streets of Twitter.

An insanely hyped recruit out of the 2018 recruiting class, Jahvon Quinerly hasn’t found a regular role in Jay Wright’s rotation. Speculation has run rampant — although, it is certainly worth noting it’s being done by way of second-hand whispers — claiming the young man has been unhappy with his situation.
While this might not clear up how he’s been playing on the court, or his future status with the Villanova Wildcats, it at least addresses his original cryptic message in a way that allows most everyone to move on from it.
All of that being said, the next few games, in terms of his minutes played and general role, will be interesting to follow.
