With an excellent start to the college basketball season, the debate about the one-and-done being good or bad for the sport is over.
What are your thoughts on the one-and-done era? Do you want it gone the way of the dinosaurs? Would you prefer some sort of change?
It appears rather clear the one-and-done era is a mostly positive “rule” in the college basketball landscape. As mentioned in the video, player (labor) rights is an entirely different discussion, but should also be considered when discussing what’s next.
Furthermore, the obvious caveat always needs mention. That this rule is, you know, an NBA rule. Not something the NCAA actually has control over.
For at least a few more years, though, the one-and-done era will remain in college basketball. That is until the NBA decides otherwise.
